Before we begin I have a couple Survivor sightings. A while back Lyn from Tennessee wrote in and said she met Big Tom. "He drives a blue pickup that has stenciled on the back: 'You are following Big Tom's truck.'" I wonder if that's Tom's version of GPS. Lyn says the big man was very nice and accommodating to his fans. Thanks for the scoop!
I was also talking to my friend Matt from L.A. and he says he ran into none other than Jonny Fairplay at a burrito establishment. Jon had on a hat that said, "I (heart) your grandma." So lame. Matt adds, "He was wearing one of those full sweat suits similar to what Ali G wears. He definitely thought he was super-fly." Sounds like he's living the high life.
It's the night after Tribal Council and Lopevi is sitting around the fire. Julie sits down between Sarge's legs and snuggles in. The next morning he's still talking about it. Later they're sunbathing. Twila is topless (!) and Julie convinces Sarge to join her dropping trou. Sarge says, "I'm comfortable with it because I've been in Europe." Let's hope his wife's been there too. Chad is grossed out by it and throws rocks at them.
Julie tells us, "If those boys want to keep me around strictly for visual stimulation, well then hey, I've got the thing in the bag then, right?" Such a role model.
At the Reward Challenge Scout is very happy to see Twila. In the Challenge the Survivors line up about ten feet apart. The goal is to toss a bucket full of water down the line. The second-to-last person tosses the water only and the last person has to catch what they can in their bucket, then pour it into a bigger bucket hanging on top of a ladder. When the hanging bucket gets filled enough, it drops, raising fire to light a torch.

"You won't vote me off, right boys?"

The Reward is dessert: cookies, chocolate cake, and milk.
Chris and Rory are the final catchers for their tribe and it's not easy. Water drops from the bucket with each toss and goes everywhere in the final throw. Rory starts to use his clothes and even his shoes to soak up water. Chris and Chad work on their water tossing technique. Chris's strategy works better and Lopevi wins.
Day 20 and Twila isn't happy about Scout making a scene about her still being around. "I need these guys to believe I'm still wholeheartedly on their side," she says. Is that because she is on their side, or is she just wanting to trick them?
Chad and Chris think Twila and Julie are solidly with them. They then make an alliance with each other. Chad says Sarge would be tough to beat in the final. Chris says, "I think both of you got a leg up on me." A leg up. To the guy with one leg. Chris immediately realizes what an idiot he is and apologizes. That's comedy.
Chris tells us he has the same alliance agreement with Sarge and Julie. I'm guessing he won't be as successful with the multiple lies as Brian.
At the Immunity Challenge Jeff announces that they are merging into one tribe, right on schedule. Rory couldn't be happier. He and the ladies will move to Lopevi beach.

Bucket chuck.

The first Individual Immunity Challenge is swimming out to a ladder in the water, climbing it, crossing a beam, getting a flag, jumping into the water and swimming back. There are three flags for each person, and there will be two heats. The two fastest from each heat will meet in the final.
The first group is Julie, Eliza, Leann, Chris and Sarge. Sarge takes the early lead with Eliza then Chris behind him. Sarge easily wins, Chris passes Eliza, but she passes him back and takes second. That's an upset.
Rory, Chad, Twila, Scout and Ami make up the second heat. Scout is about crippled. Rory's out in front followed by Ami and Chad. Chad almost falls off the platform and he can't recover. Rory and Ami move on.
Sarge and Rory get ahead of the others but it quickly turns into a rout. Sarge wins the first Immunity. "Go Army!" he yells.
Later Scout says, "I just missed Twila in places deep down where I can't talk about it." Uh, yeeee.
A feast complete with wine waits for the Survivors back at camp. "This place is off the chain right now!" Sarge says. Who knew he was so down.
Rory immediately goes to the other men and badmouths the women. He tells Sarge about what happened to Bubba. Rory wants Ami gone first. Chad tells Rory their five are tight so he'd give them the majority.

Sarge in charge.

Day 21 and the new tribe is called "Alinta" which Scout says means, "We are the people of the fire." She probably just made that up.
The girls paint each other when the flag is done. Eliza is very happy to see Julie. Everyone seems to be happy to see Julie. Sarge says, "I see Julie laying next to Ami and I get nervous." If by 'nervous' you mean 'jealous,' right big fella?
Twila and Julie tell Chad they want Rory out before Ami because he's strong in the Challenges. Chad tries to get them to see they need Rory's vote.
Ami tells Eliza it doesn't matter who goes first as long as it's one of the men. Chris works on Twila some more. Julie has a heart with "Jeff" in it painted on her chest. Sarge teases Twila about Ami flirting with her. It's like he's in junior high again.
Twila tells Chris she'll vote for whomever they want. Ami says Twila and Julie never left their alliance. Twila is well aware that "somebody's going to be pissed" after tonight.
At Tribal Council Julie shows Jeff her artwork. "Don't waste your flirting on me," he says, "I can't help you any." Jeff is so sly with the subtext. But you know Sarge didn't pick up on it at all.
Rory talks about how he's been given a second chance. Jeff asks Ami if she thought she'd make it this far. She immediately and confidently says yes. Jeff seems surprised and asks why. She says "good attitude" about five times.
Jeff asks Twila if she feels stuck in the middle. She says yes and says she likes both sides but she got along better with the men. Hmmm….
Votes: Leann for Rory, Rory for Ami. He says his vote is personal. "I really hope that like a bad rash you're finally gone."
The tally goes Ami, Ami, Ami, Ami, Rory, Rory, Rory, Rory. How's that for reverse drama? But we knew there'd be four votes each way. Now it gets interesting.

Will they pick off the men?

Vote nine is for…Rory! The last one is also for Rory and he's gone. The women have stuck together! Rory may have set a record for receiving the most votes ever!
In his goodbye Rory says he was a victim of a gender war. He adds that no one enjoyed the experience on the island more than him. He sure hid it well.
Next time on…Survivor: A chapped Sarge says, "Camp sucks." Eliza catches a pig! How the heck does that happen? But she doesn't want anyone to eat it. Somewhere Kimmi cheers.
So only three men remain in the final nine. They really screwed up by voting off John. Now their only hope is that Eliza and/or Julie get jealous of Ami and do something stupid. You can also bet Mark Burnett won't just let the next three weeks go by without giving the underdogs a chance to shake things up.
Man oh man.
