This episode is rated A for Angry.
Night 30 has Ami and Twila snapping at each other. It continues into the next day. Ami says she has no respect for Twila because she lied on her son's life. Scout joins in and tells Ami, "You're cocky." Chris is loving it all.
Twila wants Eliza to win the next Reward because she's so scrawny. Eliza makes her bony shoulder blades stick out from her back. It's a good thing we don't have 3-D TV.
Jeff rolls up to the Challenge in a car. The winner gets it and the top three finishers get an overnight trip to a resort.
The Challenge involves swimming, walking along narrow floating objects, and diving for a flag. The course must be completed three times.

Chris + Balance Beams = Bad

Ami, Eliza and Chris are the top three after the first leg. After the second lap, Julie has caught Chris for third.
Ami falls into the water and Eliza gains on her. Ami is completely worn out and she falls again. Eliza passes her! Ami falls one more time to sign the title over to Eliza. Ami easily finishes second however.
Chris and Julie are both resting before diving for the final flag. Chris says, "You want this bad?" "I really do," Julie replies. Pause. Chris says, "Me too." Such the gentleman.
On the way back Julie falls. But Chris falls so they're even as they dive into the final stretch of water. Chris finally outraces a woman and claims the last ticket to the resort.
The first thing they do is take showers. "They didn't leave me no hot water," Chris says. "Bitches."
Ami goes to work on Eliza while Chris is away. She apologizes for voting for Eliza and says she should have trusted Eliza. Eliza would be a fool to believe any of this. That's why it's possible.
Back at camp Scout claims she was physically stronger than all of them six years ago. She'll have to sign up for Time Travel Survivor.

Too bad she can't eat the car.

Scout and Twila talk about their alliance in front of Julie. Why so dumb?
Over at the resort, Ami tells Chris and Eliza they should split up Scout and Twila. Eliza takes it all in. I told you she was stupid enough to reconsider her position. Chris says, "I'm counting on the fact that Eliza is mentally strong." Isn't that like counting on Gary Coleman being tall?
Ami and Eliza share a bed for the night. Ami says she stood up for Eliza many times before the last vote. Eliza says Ami has been like a big sister to her. Yes, a big sister who tried to vote her out.
The next day the winners return. Julie is glad Chris doesn't stink any more. Ami, Eliza and Julie pluck each other's eyebrows. Ami mouths off to Scout. She thinks Scout may be jealous of her body.
Chris reminds us that he hasn't beaten the women in any of the Challenges. Believe me, we know.
It's the Shuffleboard Challenge for Immunity. The goal is to get as many of your pucks onto any of the islands on the big map of Vanuatu. There are a few volcano holes that a puck can fit into without fear of being knocked out.
Julie banks her first buck into a volcano. After three rounds she has two points. Scout has none and everyone else has one.
In round four, Chris knocks one of Julie's off the island. Eliza knocks hers own off and the round ends with Ami, Chris and Twila tied at two.
Chris finishes with a third point. Twila misses. Ami has the last shot for the tie. She knocks one of her other pucks off and Chris finally wins! He later laughs about needing a non-physical Challenge to "beat the chicks."
Eliza and Twila talk. Eliza doesn't want them to turn around and vote her off fifth. That's a good point. Why isn't Julie trying to get Scout to trade her for Eliza?

A stink-free Chris

Ami now tries to use the guilt trip on Eliza saying she stood up for her "five million times" and now Eliza's going to cast her aside at the end of the game. Chris is confident Eliza wouldn't risk a tie. Eliza says she likes Julie and Ami and they've been her friends since early in the game. Except when they voted for you, right?
Eliza says she's still not sure what to do.
Tribal Council and Sarge is working the tank top. Jeff asks why Scout turned on the women alliance. She says she had no use because some of them were "sitting ducks."
Ami talks about being shocked with "someone" and her "disgustingly lies." Twila interrupts to defend herself saying, "Get over it" and "screw you." I guess that means she's not apologizing.
Eliza says it's not "sour grapes" for Ami to be mad at Twila, and she doesn't like what Twila did either. Jeff asks if Eliza would miss Ami and she says yes, repeating the "big sister I never had" line. Ami and Eliza start weeping. Good grief.
Ami sees her chance and really lays it on. She says Eliza has changed more than anyone else in the game and she should be proud of herself.
And that's how a host pushes the suspense button.
They vote. Twila votes for Ami and says, "Drama queen to the end."
Ami writes down Scout and says, "When your true colors come out, you're no part of any rainbow I've ever seen." I'll let you read between the lines on that one.
Scout returns the favor adding, "Queens get dethroned" and something about lightning, and a tree, and I think a hill of some sort.
The tally reads: Ami, Scout, Ami, Scout, Ami…Ami again! Eliza DOES have half a brain!

Say good-bye.

But check out these final words from Ami: "If I could hold Twila underwater for two minutes I think it would make me feel better." How do you call yourself a caring loving person while publicly wishing you could kill someone? Is that in the rainbow?
Next time on…Survivor: Twila yells at Julie, then Eliza, then Eliza yells back, and Chris is beside himself with joy. At least he understands the game. If you don't get voted out, you can't lose.
Speaking of Chris, Julie should have taken a page out of his book and voted for Ami to try and put herself above Eliza on the totem pole. She must have thought there was a good chance Eliza would vote with them to force the tie. It'll be interesting to see how she tries to work it next episode. Now that Chris stinks less, can she get close enough to flash him?
And this season will be over in a flash. Thursday then Sunday and we'll have a new champion. Go chaos!
Amazing Race thoughts of the week:
What did I tell you about the same-gender curse? And you know it's a bad day when Wannabe Jeff has to come get you to tell you you've lost.
It's a good thing you only have to count to three to be a pro wrestler.
Scheduling note:
I'm going to be out of town from Thursday to Saturday. I'll do my best to have an abridged Episode 13 summentary up before the finale airs, but let's just say I wouldn't swear on my child's life about it.
