Fake out?
Day 28, and Bob tells Sugar about the fake Hidden Immunity Idol he made. Why? I guess he has to try something.
Randy and Corinne talk about how much they hate everyone. They want to try and get Matty to flop.
The Reward Challenge is an auction. Everyone gets $500 and you can’t share money or prizes. Here’s your bill of goods:
Beer & nuts to Randy for $180.
Mystery item to Kenny for $340 after Randy bid his remaining $320. Kenny gets to send someone to Exile and take their money. He plunders Bob.
Mystery item to Sugar for $340. Note the pricing trend. She gets chocolate and peanut butter.
Hot bath & clean clothes to Susie for $340.
Burger & fries to Matty for $400.
Mystery item to Randy for $280. It’s spaghetti, bread & wine. Where are the dummy prizes?
Mystery advantage at the Immunity Challenge goes to Corinne who instantly bids her full $500.
Jeff says the first person to bid $20 gets a mystery item for the tribe. Randy pays it and they get cookies. He asks if he can keep them for himself and Jeff says no. He offers one to everyone but Sugar turns it down. He offers the last one to her and this time she takes it, but immediately gives it to Matty. Randy is upset.
The auction ends and Randy leaves Jeff positive feedback in the form of 20 bucks.
Back at camp Randy and Corinne tell Matty the final three will be Kenny, Crystal and Susie.
Over in Exile, Bob still thinks the Idol is out there so he takes the clue, but it’s one he already has. So he goes for a hike instead and finds a spot with a great view.
Crystal, Susie, Sugar, Kenny and Matty talk. The majority wants Randy out next but Matty wants Bob because he’s stronger. Sugar tells us she thinks Matty’s playing the game to keep a “jerk” until the end.
Day 30, and Randy comes up with a new plan. He tells Corinne he’s going to treat everyone even worse than normal so they’ll vote for him for sure, then he’ll convince Bob to give him the HII so he can play it and they can blindside Susie.
Randy tells Matty he understands why Matty “whored himself out.” Matty takes the bait and now wants Randy out. Crystal says Randy is a troll. His plan is working perfectly…except for the Idol part.
The Immunity Challenge is a race across balance beams, and the second round is a domino puzzle with tripwires. It’s as cool as it sounds.
Corinne’s advantage is she gets an automatic berth in the final round.
Matty easily wins the beam round, followed by Kenny. During the final Kenny trips wires and knocks over his blocks while Matty is a good slitherer. They fast forward a lot because this thing must have taken forever. Kenny is the first to push his dominos, but they don’t go far. Later all three push at same time. Corinne’s and Matty’s stop short, but Kenny’s dominos fall to makes him the winner!
Susie and Kenny won the first two Individual Immunities. Betcha didn’t see that one coming.
Sugar tells Bob he should give Randy the fake Idol. He says he’ll do it. Corinne asks Bob if he found the Idol and he nods yes.
Bob offers Randy the “Idol” and he gladly takes it. Randy says, “There’s going to be some surprised people tonight.” Tee hee.
At Tribal Council Susie wonders if Randy is really like the way he acts, and says she thinks he’s hurting inside so she feels sorry for him. Crystal says Randy deserves a slap. Bob says people have asked about the Idol but he hasn’t let anyone know if he has it.
Corinne votes for Susie and says payback is something not nice.
Sugar votes for Randy and calls him an “alcoholic bigot.” Well then.
Randy votes for Susie and says it’s personal.
Crystal votes for Randy and loudly says, “You have made my life hell from day one! Forget you! Go home! Good-bye!”
Randy plays Bob’s art project. Everyone tries not to laugh. Jeff says those seven words you never want to hear: “This is not a Hidden Immunity Idol.”
The tally goes Randy, Randy, Susie, Susie, Susie (huh?), Randy, Randy, Randy. Why did Bob vote for Susie?
Next time on…Survivor: Bob tells Corinne that Marcus didn’t throw the other Immunity Idol into the ocean, but instead hid it and Bob knew where it was. Well, that changes things a bit.
Now, Lorisa has a theory that makes so much sense I’m going to have to bust out the invisible ink in case you don’t want a potential surprise spoiled. Highlight between the asterisks for what I think to be the truth:
*The theory is that Bob is lying to Corinne so she thinks he thought he was actually giving Randy a real Idol. His vote for Susie was to set up this lie so Corinne will still trust him. Pretty genius if true. Go Bob!*
