Do you know where your Hidden Immunity Idol is?
The Day is 19 and PG is now telling James to stay loyal to Zhan Hu after the merge. Say what now? You think he’s going to forget the time you lost a Challenge on purpose so you could vote off his ally?
James waits for a moment alone and looks for the Idol. He pries off the wrong square then finds the correct one. He leaves the blank square on the ground and puts the HII in his bag. “I’m on Survivor with two Idols!” he gleefully exclaims.
Courtney is mad because everyone isn’t mad at Jean-Robert and Todd is mad because Courtney is mad.
Back at Zhan Hu, Jaime notices the empty space where the square design was. They find it on the ground and Erik says it looks “idolish” so they keep it. That night they pull a Mookie and look in James’ bag and find both of his Idols.
The next day James notices that the non-Idol is gone and he hopes Jaime found it and thinks it’s real. He says if she were to play it at Tribal Council, “I would pass out in pure joy.” Then he loses his mind a little bit.
Jeff calls everyone together and it’s merge time. They get new black buffs and move to Fei Long beach. They eat a feast and watch “Chinese cultural performances.” But before they leave, Jeff warns them, “This game never stops.”
They drink booze and watch acrobats.
Later, Jean-Robert says he’s confident he’s safe now. As the group talks about a new tribe name JR says they can’t use “black” in the name because if James leaves they’ll have to change it. Jean-Robert laughs a lot louder than he should.
PG thinks she can get Frosti and James to vote with her. Not sure why.
Jeff shows up and says, “What up!” Not sure why. He busts out the Immunity Necklace, which is covered with metal washers.
They start the Immunity Challenge on the spot. It’s a single-elimination quiz on details about the events from the feast.
The first question is how many times were firecrackers set off? The answer is three and four people get it wrong.
The next question is what was the centerpiece? It was a dragon and all six are correct.
What color was the tall pole? Yellow, and only Frosti and Jaime remain.
What was on the dancers’ feet? Frosti guesses “Nothing” and wins!
Back at camp James tells Todd and then Amanda that Jaime may be holding a false “immunization thing.” Amanda really wants Jaime out. She then fills James in on Courtney’s bitterness. James can’t believe she would “fall in love with any swinging Dick or Harry that flirts or smiles at her.” At least that’s how I’m going to translate it.
Jean-Robet talks to Todd about going to the final three with Amanda. He tells Todd if Todd turns on him he will make sure Todd does not win. He says he’s holding Todd responsible because Todd has more power.
Todd tells us he’s not going to use his power to be loyal to Jean-Robert.
PG and Jaime talk about voting for JR and they hope Courtney will too. PG thinks Frosti has a crush on Courtney. I think Frosti would crush Courtney.
Jaime tells Frosti she has an Immunity Idol. Frosti says her description of it sounds legit. Jaime tells Todd she knows who has the Idols. Todd tells us, “Does she have to catch up.” He laughs and says she’s riding “the small bike.” Jaime tells us she’s good at playing dumb and fooling people.
At the first big Tribal Council JR says Courtney could make it to the top three because she’s not seen as a threat like James or himself. James says JR talks too much and puts himself on the chopping block. PG says she knows JR has received votes before.
Jaime votes for “2R” which apparently means Jean-Robert. Courtney votes for the letter J.
The tally reads – but wait! Jaime interrupts and pulls out the square and hands it to Jeff. He explains that when you play an Immunity Idol none of the votes against you count but…
“This however is not a Hidden Immunity Idol.” And he throws it in the fire. Jeff rules all! James and Jean-Robert about die from laughter.
The tally goes Jean-Robert, Jaime, Jaime, JR, JR, Jaime (3-3), Jaime, Jaime, Jaime. After all that Courtney voted with her old tribe, and Frosti joined them.
We learn that Jaime is now on the jury, which means we’ll either have three people at the end again or there will be an even number of voters.
Next time on…Survivor: “Todd wants to blindside James.” He says he wants to knock both HII’s out of the game. Amanda says, “Todd is all over the place right now.” PG keeps trying.
It’s like Todd is trying to win the million dollars in two weeks. But before that – man – that faux-Idol thing was pretty embarrassing. It makes you wonder if stealing is legal in the game. Could she have swapped her fake Idol for one of James’ real ones and kept it for herself? I don’t know but I do know this:
Stay away from swinging Richards!
