Who is the weakest of the weak?
Night 6, and Jean-Robert is snoring and rubbing up on the women. Please don’t let this be Ted/Ghandia part 2. JR says he just wants to keep warm. Courtney says, “I weigh seven pounds. I can’t keep myself warm.”
The next morning at Zhan Hu, PG doesn’t want Dave to fade in the Challenge again so she tells him to work less. The Reward Challenge is pushing each other off platforms into the water. The women and men will compete separately and the first team to win three rounds gets pillows, blankets and a tarp.
Courtney and Todd sit out and everyone is already in their underwear. Sherea leads the ZH women to a 1-0 lead.
Dave takes off his pants. You’re not going to believe this, but it doesn’t help him any and the James/Jean-Robert/Aaron triumvirate prevails to tie the score at 1. The women come back out and Sherea’s team wins. You can see where this is going. The Fei Long men are unbeatable and the Zhan Hu women cannot be stopped but since the women went first Zhan Hu gets their first victory. That’s a sly bit of rigging.
Zhan Hu kidnaps Leslie and she gets a clue tube. Leslie enjoys herself more at the new camp because she says they have better morale. She is very open with them about the dynamics within her tribe.
Back at FL Jean-Robert talks to James about Courtney being the first to go even though Courtney and Todd are close enough to hear them. JR then talks about Courtney and her seven pounds being attractive, and men everywhere scratch their heads.
Leslie returns the favor from last time and gives Jaime the clue. The camera again zooms in on the decoration on the shrine thing at camp.
The Immunity Challenge is chopping beams with a big machete to cut ropes inside to release big discs. Two other people then assemble the discs into a heavy puzzle which they must drag across the finish line, so both ends require something physical.
The Challenge comes down Courtney not being able to cut her ropes. As everyone else chops they do this kung-fu movie style special effect to freeze the moment the rope is cut. I don’t know why.
Dave and Sherea struggle with the puzzle but their lead holds up and John Who wins Immunity for the first time.
Leslie tells her tribe what she told the other tribe about her tribe. She doesn’t think it’s a big deal, but Aaron thinks she’s a liability. Leslie, Courtney and Todd talk about voting off Jean-Robert. Todd then goes and talks to Amanda about Courtney or JR, and the two of them bring in Aaron who wants to vote out Leslie. Jean-Robert leads a group discussion on deciding between Courtney and Leslie while those two walk up. He needs to learn to turn his head every once in a while.
At Tribal Council Jean-Robert says they have the two weakest women and Jeff makes him name them, and JR says Courtney and Leslie. Leslie says Zhan Hu won because they have more heart.
Aaron votes for Leslie, and Courtney and Leslie vote for Jean-Robert. Courtney says when JR snores it sounds like “someone choking a walrus.”
The tally goes: JR, Leslie, JR, Leslie, Leslie, Leslie, Leslie. Amazingly there is not one vote for Courtney. It just goes to show what you say and who you say it to is even worse than blowing a Challenge all by yourself.
As they leave Jeff says they need to utilize each person’s unique strength. What is Courtney’s? Does not eating count as a unique strength?
Next time on…Survivor: Courtney and Jean-Robert fight, Sherea yells at her tribe, and Survivors wear armor.
What’s funny about this season so far is the number of really bad players who haven’t left yet. Normally you have a couple obvious choices but this time you have too many obvious choices. Dave has a terrible attitude, but Ashley’s was worse. Courtney can’t lift chopsticks and Jean-Robert is disgusting in every way, yet Leslie’s loose lips sink her ship.
Who will out-stink next week?
