Survivor 14 Episode 6

Ladies first.

Day 15, and Jeff asks for two volunteers. Edgardo and Earl step forward and here come the new tribes. Each person has to pick someone from the other tribe and the new teams end up like this:

Edgardo – Mookie – Alex – Rocky – Dreamz – Anthony
Earl – Boo – Michelle – Cassandra – Yau-Man – Stacy

Boo picking Michelle was an interesting one, but I guess he liked her better than Rocky, Yau-Man or Anthony.

Lisi goes unpicked and Jeff tells her she’s still in the game and she has a big reaction. He asks if she was worried she was going home and she says she was actually hoping she was going home. Huh? Jeff sends her to Exile Island and says maybe it’ll help her get her head back in the game. You da man!

Edgardo draws for the camp and…it’s Dump Ravu. Earl, Michelle and Yau-Man are lovin’ life. Earl calls his new home “redonkulous.”

Over at Nu Ravu, Alex quotes the Count of Monte Cristo to inspire his tribe. It’s like some bizarro fraternity. Anthony feels insecure about all the testosterone because he’s a self-proclaimed “nerd.” The other guys leave him to tend the fire while they hunt for food.

The games begin. At Neo Moto Cassandra brings Earl and Yau-Man some coffee and tells them Boo had a lot of allies in the old group. Earl thinks Cassandra is leaning toward his side and he’s feeling very confident about his position.

Alex and Dreamz work on Mookie and he says he’s in. Mookie then proceeds to yank a half-dozen big fish out of the water. Rocky says “on paper” they’re a “superpower.”

The Immunity Challenge gets everyone strapped into a connected pole apparatus that must be maneuvered through a maze of vertical poles, with the two tribes’ paths intersecting multiple times.

Ravu has an early lead until the tribes get tangled. Moto then takes a lead until the next jumble. It’s tight all the way to the end…and the magic of Moto prevails! Rocky, Mookie and Anthony still stink.

Anthony is done, and he knows it. He calls himself the “black, male Cinderella.”

But then Rocky starts running his mouth. Dreamz notices that Anthony does more work than Rocky. Edgardo doesn’t like the way Rocky bosses Anthony around. Is Rocky going to ruin a sure thing?

At Tribal Council Jeff asks Anthony if it bothered him that he was left by himself and Anthony says it did. Rocky tells Anthony he should have spoken up and proceeds to give him a “life lesson” about growing a spine and not acting “like a little girl” with no social skills. Rocky and Anthony argue for a while then Alex says he felt bad about what Rocky said to Anthony.

Rocky and Anthony vote for each other and the tally goes: Rocky, Anthony…Anthony, and two more Anthonys to send him off to the nerdery.

Next time on…Survivor: Lisi dives into Ravu’s man stew, Dreamz says she should be worried, Yau-Man digs (with a pick-ax?!), and we have the always-fun blindfold Challenge where people get hurt.

So we finally voted out our first male. Although, Rocky would disagree.

Jeff had a good point about that. If Rocky knew he had the numbers he could have just been cordial with Anthony then voted him out. But he had to call him out one last time and embarrass him. I think guys like Alex and Edgardo are too smart to ignore something like that.

Can Rocky continue to skirt the skirt issue?
