Survivor 13: Episode 8

Aw…poop.

Day 19, and Jonathan confirms his alliance with everyone in his tribe but Ozzy. Candice however tells us she's planning on jumping ship back with Adam and Parcheesi after the merge. For some reason she talks about this with Jonathan who says it will be the "four Caucasians in the final four." You just can't trust white people.

Raro is also talking about the merge and sticking together when Brad says it'll be "every man for himself" and walks off. This comment annoys everyone and makes them question his loyalty.

Before the Reward Challenge we have the twist. Everybody has a chance to "mutiny" and join the other tribe. Jeff gives them ten seconds to decide and Candice steps forward, followed by Jonathan at the last second. Whoa. We just went from a 6-6 tie to an 8-4 advantage for Raro.

The Challenge is sticking two of your people in a barrel, rolling them around and then floating them across a lagoon. The winners get pastries, coffee and…letters from home. Look out.

Raro has to sit out half their tribe and Nate, Adam, Candice and Jenny will compete. Ozzy breathes through his gills and pulls the barrel along the submerged guideline while Raro floats way off course. I2 wins!

Ozzy yells, "Mutineers are the first people to die, man!" and Candice is immediately sent to Exile. Sundra weeps for joy. I2 is now the I4.

They go to their Reward with new emotional bonds. As they look through the letters and childhood pictures everyone cries and hugs.

At Raro Jonathan tries to make friends but Nate tells the camera Jonathan "must be smokin' some good stuff" to think they'll trust him after he "sold out" his tribe. I guess little blonde girls can sell all they want.

Jonathan talks to Adam about reuniting the white tribe and Adam seems interested.

The Immunity Challenge is - stop me if you've heard this before - amazing. They have glass-bottom boats and have to drop cannon balls onto underwater targets to release buoys. So cool.

Raro has to use the people who sat out last time so that puts Jonathan, Rebecca, Brad and Parcheesi in the boat.

Raro hits two out of the three targets before I4 gets their first. But then Yul realizes he can aim better by forcing open the cannonball shoot and looking through it. They hit two in a row and catch up.

After Raro misses a couple in a row Jeff says, "Raro just wasted a cannonball," and Jonathan snaps, "Oh please, Jeff!" The Man calmly replies, "Jonathan getting frustrated by me." I love that guy.

I4 hits #3, Raro misses again and the I4 again cruise to victory!

Back at camp Candice tells Poverty she's not as close to Jonathan as he's been saying. Nate talks to Adam about how dumb Jonathan is but Adam says it may be a good idea to keep him around since he can't turn on them while Brad could. That's actually a good point. It's almost impossible to get concrete information in this game but there is no way Aitu would welcome back Jonathan or Candice after the merge.

Nate is convinced and says he's going to "put a Denzel on today" to fool Brad. He tells Brad they're going to chop Jonathan "like poop." Who chops poop? Denzel doesn't chop poop.

Candice tells Adam it was Jonathan's idea to keep sending Adam to Exile Island. This really ticks off Adam, who tells Nate about it, but says they can't change their plan now.

At Tribal Council Jenny says they're going to pick off Aitu "like zits." Candice says Raro is more fun and they win when it counts. Nate says Candice is a strong competitor and Jonathan may be too much of a leader and they don't like that. Brad says he doesn't trust his tribe because, "Trust is a big word to me, Jeff." You mean like Ttttttrrrrrrruuuuuusssssssssttttt?

Jonathan votes for Brad and Brad votes for a horizontal line. Oh wait, that says Jonathan. The tally goes Jonathan, BradBradBradBradBrad, and Brad joins the jury.

Wait, the what? Yep, Jeff repeats it saying it's yet another twist. Will they really have a 10-person jury and risk a tie? Will they be bringing back another player? Will there be a 3-person final? Curiouser and curiouser.

Next time on…Survivor: Adam and Candice kiss, but it's not that hot. A bottle is introduced that contains "significant information" that could turn the game upside down.

So did the I4 actually win by losing? Earlier in the day they were talking about dumping Ozzy and now we have an unbreakable bond between the two strongest people in the game (not to mention the guy who has the Idol).

The bad news is they're still down three people. The good news is the young dumb ones have the numbers for Raro which means the blunder potential is high. The best news is we have some feisty underdogs to root for.

Just don't cut the poop.
