Now that there is some Survivor.
Day 25, and Jonathan comes back from fishing to find everyone sitting around with no fire started. He starts yelling at them to get to work. Nate is not pleased.
The Reward Challenge doesn't exist because there's a merge! Raro takes a 5-4 edge into the new tribe and even get home-beach advantage. They all get a meal on a boat ride and the "Raro kids," as Jonathan calls them, only care about "getting faded." Adam starts puking over the side of the boat.
Nate says their alliance of five is tight but he starts to work on Ozzy just in case. A drunk Adam is stroking Parachute. She asks about Candice and he says, "You both can appreciate me."
Yul and Becky talk about telling someone he has the Idol in order to convince one of them to switch sides. And, get this, they want to target Jonathan of all people.
Yul approaches Jonathan but Jonathan says he can't entertain that thought right now. Jonathan goes on to say he doesn't think he could make the final four if he's not in an alliance with the person who has the Idol. Yul then asks him "hypothetically" what Jonathan would do if Yul did have the Idol and Jonathan says he'd have to think hard about it, but he can't make a decision unless he sees the Idol.
Yul proceeds to tell Sundra and Ozzy he has the Idol in order to solidify his alliance with them. Parachute and Candice talk about voting Yul out, but Jonathan says if Yul does have the Idol, Jonathan would be the one to go.
The Immunity Challenge is wrapping yourself around a tall pole as long as possible. Adam goes out in nine minutes. Jonathan drops out, followed by Nate and Sundra.
Yul points out that people with bigger feet have a disadvantage because elephants can't climb trees.
The scientific philosopher falls, causing Jeff to say, "Ozzy is the remaining man." Yeah, but Ozzy's only half man anyway. The rest is some wild beast.
Poverty and Becky drop to the ground leaving Ozzy vs. Candice for the prize. Candice slowly slides as Ozzy holds tight and the half-man wins!
Back at "Aitutonga" the game begins. Adam says they're voting for Yul. Yul pulls Jonathan aside and whips it out! The Idol, that is. Yul tells Jonathan he wants to take him to the end because Jonathan has created so many enemies.
This is a big gamble because Jonathan could make a counter move. Sure enough, he goes to his white-man comrades and asks them what would happen if Yul had the Idol. Adam and Parachute say there's no way Yul has it, since he was only on Exile Island for one day.
Adam asks Nate if they should let Jonathan have his way and vote off Yul another time. Nate says no way because they shouldn't let Jonathan call the shots.
Adam and Candice talk strategy, then suddenly start making out. What just happened?
Jonathan contemplates his future. He knows if he makes this move he instantly becomes the guy who betrayed everyone.
Yul tells Jonathan they'll vote for whomever Jonathan wants. He picks Nate. Jonathan tells us he doesn't know what he's going to do.
At Tribal Council Nate says the old tribal lines are still in play. Poverty says Adam and Candice "want to make babies."
No votes are shown. The tally reads: Yul, Yul, Nate, Yul, Nate, Nate (3-3), Yul…Nate! 4-4! And the last vote reads…
NATE! Jonathan did it again.
Next time on…Survivor: Jonathan buddies up with his new alliance, Candice confronts him and Jonathan says, "That's bollocks and you know it!"
A bold move by Yul that paid off handsomely. Jonathan very easily could have gone to Adam and said, "Yul has the Idol. He showed it to me and we have to vote off Sundra or Becky." Whether Adam could've pulled himself off of Candice long enough to believe him is a different story.
Now Yul has a lot of options. He could try and take Jonathan to the end like he said he would in order to have an easy victory. He could keep Jonathan until the rest of Raro is gone and then sacrifice him to save I4. Or, if he still doesn't trust Jonathan he could vote him off right now and still maintain a 4-3 advantage.
So, perhaps the real question is: How long before Jonathan betrays again?
