Survivor 11 Episode 6

To paraphrase Ernie Banks: It's a great day for Survivor. Let's play two!

Day 15, and over at Yaxha Brandon is stunned that Blake is gone. He confronts Bobby Jon on it and Bobby responds with an excuse that contains about ten words and lasts about ten minutes. I was going to transcribe it for you but I fell asleep halfway though the quote.

Now to Nakum and Rafe says Margaret is a "negative energy" in the tribe. Margaret says she knows Judd is gunning for her.

The Reward Challenge is another physical monster. There's a huge ball in the middle of a field and two people from each team try to push it to the opposite end. The first team to score three times wins. It'll be two men from each tribe, then two women, then one man and one woman, and so on. The Reward is a big feast of burgers, hot dogs and beer.

But wait, there's more. Jeff says both tribes will be voting someone out that night! The winning team in the Challenge will take part in the first Individual Immunity Challenge. Ooo-la-la.

As always it seams, Lydia sits out for Nakum. The first match is Stephenie and Cindy vs. Amy and Danni. Amy's strength and Danni's exposed butt are too much and they score the first point.

Survivorball.

The first all-man round is Brandon and Bobby Jon against Judd and Jamie. It's the Big J's against the Country B's. Girth proves better than crazy this time around and it's 1-1.

Jamie does some victory hollerin' and Bobby Jon gets in his face and hollers back. "That's not nice! That's not nice!" he instructs Jamie. Sadly, cooler heads prevail, at least for now.

Amy and Gary take on Judd and Stephenie. Amy hurts her ankle again and this one ends quickly. Nakum leads 2-1.

Next is another all-female round which means Amy gets no rest, as she and Danni are the only two Yaxha women. They're facing Margaret and Cindy.

Amy rises to the challenge and she and Danni use a nice corner-turning technique to even the score. He-Amy does some hollerin' of her own.

Bobby Jon and Brian meet Judd and Jamie in a winner-take-all showdown. It doesn't look good for Yaxha. Sure enough, J & J's bigness prevails and Nakum is the winner again!

After Yaxha mopes off it's time for Individual Immunity. The Necklace looks like a green air freshener of some sort.

The Braun and the Butt.

Each person has to run back and forth to untie and retrieve three bags. The bags contain a total of eleven lettered tiles that rearrange to form a two-word phrase.

Stephenie is the first to get all of her bags, followed by Cindy and Rafe. Judd is dead last because he stinks at untying knots. But he peeks over at Rafe's board…and tells Rafe the answer is "ancient ruins"! And it is--Rafe wins!! You might say Judd's impulse control is severely lacking.

Back at camp, victorious Nakum talks about Bobby Jon going nuts. Jamie says it's because they're "just southern people. We're crazy."

On the other side of the coin, Bobby Jon is telling Brandon he was putting Jamie "in his place." That's right, Jamie'll be nice from now on.

Amy again plays off the injury and says she's fine. Brian tells Gary they need to stick with Amy and stay strong to their original tribe. Brandon tells his cohorts it should be Amy or Brian.

Nakum eats. Judd and Jamie say they're voting off Margaret. Judd tells the camera he's not worried one bit. To prove it, he starts throwing back beers. They had divided everything evenly but they end up one beer short. Judd tells us he deserved the extra beer for winning the Challenge, and he tells his tribe to kiss his Judd.

Judd has an--shall we say--interesting speech pattern. Here's my impression of Judd reciting the Gettysburg Address:

Four score and seven years ago, man, our fathers brought forth, man, upon this continent, man, a new, man, nation, man, conceived, man, in liberty, man, and, man, dedicated to the proposition, man, that all men, man, are created man, I mean, equal, man.

"Is that potpourri?"

Nakum is first at Tribal Council. Jeff asks if they exhibit good sportsmanship. Margaret says for the most part they do but Judd and Jamie need to be more careful with what they say. Judd says, "I wouldn't consider myself a bad sportsmanship." He and Margaret go back and forth with Judd constantly interrupting and finally telling Margaret to "shut up."

Judd keeps going and going and Jeff says he's never seen anything like this, and then Judd interrupts Jeff! Just how many beers did he have?

Judd and Margaret vote for each other. The tally goes: Margaret, Judd, Margaret, Margaret, Margaret! It's unanimous again. Even Cindy turned on Margaret!

Rafe heads over to the jury box as a witness and Yaxha comes in.

Bobby Jon says he and Jamie are like "two bulls in a ring." Brian says he's not afraid of the physical Challenges because he's athletic. Bobby Jon says Brian "knows his game" and calls him a "good ol' boy." Danni continues the pro-Brian talk by saying he's a "classy guy." Amy says she just "tweaked" her ankle. Bobby Jon says they all compete and work hard so no one deserves to leave.

Jeff then says Rafe will be giving someone Immunity…and it'll be kept a secret until the tribal vote is cast!

Brian votes for Bobby Jon, saying this is the Outwit part of the game. Bobby Jon returns the vote but is much more cordial.

The tally goes: Bobby Jon, Brian, Brian, Brian, Brian. Yet another unanimous vote! Gary and Amy have chosen their new tribe over old party lines!

The Little Man That Couldn't.

But Brian can still be saved by the secret vote. Jeff reveals that Rafe voted for…Gary! That's right, they're termite buddies. Should've expected that one. So Brian is officially gone. In his final words he says he's happy that he didn't see it coming. Huh? Jesus loves you, Brian.

Next time on…Survivor: Gary is once again confronted about the football thing, this time by Amy. She tells him if he's lying she'll beat him down. And Yaxha pays Nakum's camp a visit.

Is that a merge? I wouldn't think so because you have to assume they'd pick Yaxha's camp and pool. But there are now only eleven people left so it's possible.

Current Yaxha has two original members and three Original Nakums. Current Nakum also has two original members, and four Original Yaxhas. Overall there are six Original Yaxhas and five Original Nakums. Add that Judd is clearly aligned with Jamie and Stephenie, and Rafe still has feelings for Gary, and it looks like Original Yaxha should maintain the advantage deep into the game.

Should. As we all know, people switch sides all the time even though…That's not nice! That's not nice!
