Big surprise this week! For real this time!
Night 11 and Jenn and Gregg cuddle up and giggle. They're quite loud about it so I guess they don't care what the others think.
Over at Ulong they decide to spend the night in the cave because of approaching rain. The only problem is they can't find the cave in the dark so they wander around the jungle for an hour. They end up having to go back to camp where they get soaked all night. The next morning Angie is "miserable."

Boom-chicka-wow-wow.

Back at the Kor, Tom complains that Willard hasn't been doing his share of the work. Gregg agrees and says he has been getting a "free ride" because the tribe keeps winning.
The Reward Challenge involves a sunken Japanese ship. There are sake bottles (classy) tied to it underwater. One person sits on a "skiff" and the rest of the tribe sends them out to the wreck by pulling a rope system (more fine work by the crew). The skiff-rider then dives down and retrieves a bottle, and his/her teammates pull him/her back. First team with six bottles wins dinner.
Dinner at Tribal Council.
Eyes widen and jaws drop. Wha-what?! BOTH teams will be going to Tribal Council. The winner votes first, then they move over to the jury area and eat some stew while the losers come in and vote. That's a new one.
Willard, Caryn, Katie and Janu sit out for Koror. They can only use half their tribe yet the same people seem to be out every time.
Koror is first back with a bottle but it's very close. Ulong takes the lead during the second leg. They've got their skiff flying and actually have a decent advantage when Ibrehem goes out for the third bottle.
But he can't get it! He dives three times and comes up empty handed (and lunged) each time. Koror has long since passed him when he gives up and Ulong brings him in without a bottle. Ouch.
Ian has a little trouble finding a bottle but Koror still wins easily. In other news, the world is round.
Koror celebrates their upcoming dinner. Coby asks them to be polite while they eat in front of the other tribe. Ian doesn't seem to care and he starts singing a goofy song about not needing to collect food that day.

Don't whiff with the skiff.

The Ulongers are understandably upset with Ibrehem. Stephenie says she's tired of losing and is hoping for a merge.
The Koror leaders want Willard out. He sees the writing on the wall and offers Coby his pants. No comment.
Coby says it should be Katie out first but he knows he doesn't have the numbers and he doesn't want to stand out and get the majority against him. But he promises, "If Katie gets further than me I will just puke, puke, puke!" We've been warned.
Gregg pulls Coby aside and makes him an interesting offer. He admits he has a "soft alliance" with Jenn, Tom, Ian, and Katie. But he thinks Tom and Ian are too strong and he wants to break them up. He tells Coby that after they get rid of Willard and Caryn, he and Jenn will join with Coby and Janu for an overthrow. Coby sums up my reaction: "Whaaaat?! Out of the buh-loo-oo!" But he's very happy to work with "Ken and Barbie."
Koror visits Tribal Council for the first time. And they still haven't lost an Immunity Challenge.
Katie says Tom leads them at Challenges and Ian leads them in getting food. Coby says he gets along with everyone and doesn't care if that hurts him in the end.
Gregg says they've broken up into friendship pairs: Tom/Ian, Coby/Janu, Willard/Caryn, with Katie bouncing around with everyone. He admits to having a "strong bond" with Jenn.
They vote and we see Katie vote for Willard. The tally goes Katie followed by five Willards. No surprise there.

That mask won't protect your spine.

Koror slides over and Ulong comes in. Koror does not hide their excitement one bit when the food is revealed. Ulong is completely tortured by this. Angie looks like she's about to kill again.
Jeff asks why Ulong brought all their stuff from camp, including their tools. James admits they were hoping for a merge. Jeff says it's not going to happen.
Angie says the team really needed that win for morale. Both she and Steph talk about how they had the win but blew it. Ibrehem speaks up and says they should look at all the Challenges and not just the most recent one.
Time to vote…but wait! Koror will be voting…to give a member of Ulong Immunity!
Katie votes for Ibrehem, Jenn votes for Stephenie, and Gregg votes for Angie.
The tally shows those three votes, then a vote for Bobby Jon. That's what happens when a tribe doesn't get to plan for a vote. A second vote goes to Stephenie, Bobby Jon, and Ibrehem. One vote left and it goes to…Ibrehem! Ha! Now what's Ulong going to do?
Koror is excused so they won't see what they've caused. Ulong votes once again. James says Angie, Angie says James, and Steph picks Bobby Jon. Again, no planning time causes chaos. They should do surprise Tribal Councils more often.
The tally goes: Angie, Bobby Jon, James, Bobby Jon…Angie. We have a tie between Bobby Jon and Angie! Those two now can't vote and the other three have to vote for one of them.
We have our fourth vote of the evening. The first vote is for Angie. The second is for…Angie! She's gone, and Stephenie changed her vote!

Adieu, tattoos.

Tough, tough break for Angie. She played a great game. She represented herself and her tattooed sisters well. One of the strongest female Challengers ever.
Next WEDNESDAY on…Survivor: James calls out Ibrehem for the Challenge loss. Way not to hold a grudge. Then a huge storm hits Koror and Janu cries.
Well, well, well, ten seasons and Mark Burnett still has some tricks up his sleeve. I liked the dual Tribal Council (they just had to start the cloak-and-dagger stuff in Koror) and the surprise Immunity vote was exciting as well.
What do you all think of Gregg's decision to talk with Coby so early? On the one hand, he appears to have kept Coby from considering siding with Ulong in case of a merge. But on the other hand, he's given Coby a lot of information and power and a lot could happen before they even have a chance to enact their plan. You have to at least give Many G credit for thinking ahead and playing the game.
So how 'bout them Wildcats! Two March Madness wins this weekend and we're still alive. Now we become the underdog Thursday night. Let's hope they can keep their torches lit.
Speaking of which, check out this celebrity bracket. First look at the bottom middle to see who filled it out. Then look and see this person's pick to win the championship. You can't argue with genius.
